Community Fund finalists of 2022 are chosen
As part of our Community Fund programme, we recently invited groups, schools and charities, which could benefit from a £500 donation of landscaping and building materials, to get in contact.
All the entries have been whittled down to the final three and it's now down to the public to decide who receives the donation.
Greenside Care Club
Greenside Care Club is based at the heart of Pudsey, situated by Pudsey cenotaph.
We are a childcare provider situated on the site of Greenside Primary school, providing care for children ages 3-11 years. We provide varying options of childcare; out of school club, preschool and holiday play scheme.
If successful, we would use the grant to help maintain our building and finish some of the vital repair works:
· Replacing the soffit boards on the top and bottom of the cabin
· Painting the outside of the building bringing some brightness back
· We desperately need a replacement boys' urinal
· Our Internal flooring in areas of the rooms need replacing
Parkspring Primary School
Park Spring Primary School is situated on Swinnow Lane LS13
At Park Spring it is our intention that our children will experience a happy,
caring, safe, interesting and challenging learning environment .
We are in the process of transforming the old caretaker's bungalow
and surrounding area into ‘The Hive’, to be used for Intervention groups,
before and after school clubs and other worthwhile experiences.
We are in need of fencing and landscaping materials and would love the
opportunity to get funding towards this project.
How to vote
The public can vote for the finalist they would like to receive the £500 by one of three ways:
By visiting Farmac Building Supplies on Facebook and choosing who they would like to vote for on the poll that will be at the top of the page when voting goes live
By emailing [email protected] and putting the name of the group they would like to win in the subject box
Only one vote per person via one method of voting will be counted.
We wish all three finalists the very best of luck!
Terms & Conditions
· Voting will take place between Thursday 10th November 2022 and close @ 11.59pm on Wednesday 30th Novemeber 2022. Any votes cast outside of these dates will not be counted.
· The recipient of the £500 to spend at Farmac Building Supplies will be the group that receives the highest number of votes.
· Any votes deemed false will not be counted.
· The winning group will be required to take part in a photocall with an Farmac representative. The photo will be distributed to the media and uploaded to Farmac’s website and social media platforms.
· Farmac Building Supplies reserves the right to award the prize to a runner-up if contact is not received from the voted winner after 10 days.
· The winner is required to be involved in a follow up photo call showing how the building materials were used.
The prize does not have a cash alternative.
