Our Director Simon Beverley took part in the Billy's Heroes running event which took place in July 2018. This is a fantastic event where a team of approximately 20 people run from Pudsey to Blackpool in a relay throughout the night. We left Pudsey at 9.00pm on Thursday 26th July running in stages of differing lengths but usually around 6 miles. We all did 3 stages so the difficulty is sitting around in the minibus without falling asleep between runs. We arrived at Blackpool tower at 8.00am on the Friday Morning just in time for a big breakfast at Wetherspoons! This year the team raised £3715.00 split between Sue Ryder-Wheatfields Hospice and Marie Curie Cancer Care, Two charities that are close to our hearts here at Farmac.
